Is the state park day-use permit good at Sno-Parks?
No. Only Sno-Park permits are accepted in designated Oregon Sno-Parks. Sno-Park permits can be obtained from DMV offices and at agents in resorts, sporting goods stores, other retail outlets, and at many U.S. Forest Service ranger district offices.
Is the state park permit good in national forests?
Usually not, but there may be exceptions from time to time. Pacific northwest national forest trailheads and federal parks require special passes issued by the U.S. Forest Service or the National Park Service.
